Travel by Plane
Unfortunately, there is no direct flight option to Aegina, as the island does not have an airport. However, you can easily reach Aegina by flying into Athens and then taking a short ferry ride from Piraeus Port.

Travel by Ferry
You can travel to Aegina by ferry. To reach Aegina Island from abroad, first, fly to Athens International Airport, which receives flights from major cities worldwide. From the airport, you can take a taxi or metro to Piraeus Port. From Piraeus Port, frequent ferries run to Aegina, with options including high-speed ferries that take 40 minutes to an hour, or regular ferries that take 1 to 1.5 hours. Once you arrive at Aegina Port, you can easily reach your destination on the island by walking, taking a local taxi or renting a car.
Ferry Options
If you have a car or prefer a gentler journey, we recommend to take Saronic Ferries or San Lorenzo Ferries. Otherwise, there are two high-speed ferry options, Hellenic Seaways and Aegean Flying Dolphins. Please note that all ferry options may not yet be available through online booking at this time and will appear closer to the date.
